    Very good shipping despite the pandemic. The packaging is very sturdy and storage friendly and I liked that they came with an extra blade and oil included to. The shears worked well and took less time. Blades are very sharp so sheared our sheep like a hot knife through butter. I would recommend investing in some cooling spray to prevent the body of the shears from getting very hot. We sprayed about every 5 minutes and lubricated the blades and took small breaks in between shearing so shears never got extremely hot! It was easy to manoeuvre and most importantly the noise didn’t scare the flock. Very good item for very good price.

    The clippers are fine. I mean you can tell that they may not be 500 dollar clippers but they worked great for me to clip 3 sheep (which had never been clipped, nor had i ever clipped a sheep, never heard the sound before) Anyway, my 3 ewes were 1 yr old they are friendly and not spooks, always wear a dog collar. I actually did it in a small fenced pasture with grass had all 3 in there, got an extension cord, had my daughter hold them by the collar and i began to shave them standing. I did not do a super close shear as i was really afraid of cutting them as clippers are sharp! I cut my thumb, and gave each sheep a cut by accident. Nothing serious at all but i still did! Shears do get warm and my ewes had alot of lanolin so really had to use a wire brush every once in a while. Anyway, they worked survived the clipping along with me. Plus i have them for next year to use again. I dont think i will ever wear them out and seem easy enough to clean. They do the job well for how long?.... Who knows but hey to have someone come out once a year for 3 sheep would have been the same price. So i can scratch sheep shearing off my bucket list!

Opened box and kit was clearly displayed, wrapped in cellophane, in a nice sturdy case with a very eye-pleasing label on it. Instruction booklet was there, 2 more blades were included. I plugged it in and turned it on, very loud, not a lot of shaking, but a very powerful product.     got this for shearing sheep, it works but very slow, i was hand shearing before and its much faster hand shearing, this is also quite heavy and overheats quickly, it would prob be fine for trimming other animals but not great for sheep, maybe if you just have one or two sheep it would be ok, ill stick with hand shear till i can afford a good electric shear

    We use these to clip the cow tails. It cuts through the hair, wet or dry with little issue. Use it monthly on over 100 cattle, and still good n sharp with no issues. Maybe not show cattle trimmers, but for basic trimming it is well worth the price.

    I use two sets of these to sheer my alpacas. Works beautifully. The machine does get hot and need time to cool which is why I have two to alternate between The blades dull down over time which is expected. I'll be purchasing a blade sharpening wheel to remedy that.

    I knew these were cheaper than my old ones, and I worried about the quality. My old ones packed in after a hard life (probably due to me being the world's slowest shearer) but I'm happy with these and they seem good value for money. I had them working for over an hour and they stayed cool. They cut through the mankiest of wool with ease, even the dangleberries on my old ewe which had fused to a felted hell. They were a bit on the chunky and heavy side, especially for small hands, and I was a bit wary trying to keep hold of them when they were oily, I wasn't quite so confident with them due to the weight, but I just went even slower 😳. Pleased to report no cuts/ red marks, and the design seems good in terms of nick prevention, and the sheep seemed pleased with the end result.
