    This was a fabulous book that has love and suspense!! Threats are happening and the past is closing in on Penn and Mila!! While growing close trust and love will keep this couple from falling apart!! Was very excited to get Penn's book and was not disappointed!! This is a must read book and series!!     Although it's a standalone in the Pittsburgh Titans series, I had no trouble diving right in—and loved every second of it. Even better? We get a crossover with Sawyer’s Jamison Security series, making it double the deliciousness.

    What a great edge of your seat romance! This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I’m kinda excited to go read the rest now!
    Penn and Mila were witness to something tragic as teenagers and it ripped their worlds apart. But their pasts are coming back to haunt them both. Years after the tragedy struck Mila is scared and running to Penn. He wants nothing to do with her at first busy finally allows her to stay with him so she’s safe. She unravels his life and now they’re both in danger! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the process of finding out who was behind it all! I loved the ending and how everyone got what they deserved. Such a great book and I’m looking forward to Luckys book 😉

    I have been waiting for Penn’s story for a long time, and it blew my mind! Be warned, once you start you are not going to want to stop!!!

    Penn’s story is beyond anything I imagine and when Mila shows up, the past Penn has tried so hard to bury and forget comes back to haunt him and Mila.

    Together these two amazing people learn to heal, and fall in love at the same time.

    There are lots Titans couples from previous stories that are in the story and we got to also learn more about Titans in upcoming stories.

    I got to listen to this story on audio, and I loved how Sean Masters & Lucy Rivers brought Penn and Mila to life!

    Love the book! The story on Penn and Mila is one of my favorite but once again the end feel rushed. The big climax and bang the book is over in half a chapter. I feel like something is missing in the resolution of the story like most of the book by Sawyer Bennett

    Penn Navarro, broody, moody, antisocial, one of the best player on the Titan team but not invested in the team. Mila is scared for her life and Penn is the only one who can help her. He will help her reluctantly and at the same time open the door to a past that will tear down all his walls and a past that he has kept hidden from everybody all his life. What Mila and Penn go through is scary, intense but also healing for both of them. It was fun seeing our old friends from the Jamieson group be part of this journey of discovery. This story is spellbinding, intense and heart stopping HOT. I could not put this one down.
    Sawyer Bennett this is the best Titan book of this series (until the next one...)

    Some truths:
    I feel like I have been waiting FOREVER for Penn’s book. FOR. EVER.
    I was a bit wary starting the book, as much as I giddy with anticipation because…what if I didn’t end up loving the man the way I wanted to?? (Yeah, I know, it’s not ALL about me, but still) because I already have a thing for the grumpy ones with walls a country mile wide and high and well…Penn just ticked all of my boxes…so yeah, a bit wary.
    I knew better than to start the book whilst at work…because I freakin’ DEVOURED this baby. I did put it down…but when one’s desk is not visible to anyone…well, the Kindle came out a few times…

    Ok, so now that’s out of the way…Penn and Mila. Penn, finally finding out what happened to make him become this insanely solitary figure ~ except when on the ice ~ explained a lot and man and had me wanting to give the grump a huge hug (and hurt some peoples) but mostly a hug. Mila is one strong woman. As with Penn, I wanted to give her a huge hug (and hurt some peoples ~ this feeling was more intense for her than Penn). She has gumption. Period.

    The journey to their HEA was a bit rocky, but it was totally understandable considering what their shared past was and the situation they find themselves in. What I loved was watching the man who Penn could have been this whole time start to come out and play. It wasn’t a 180 whiplash kind of change ~ he still has his moments and honestly, I’m really happy that he still has things to work on and some things may just stick. But, in the end, I just really enjoyed them together and am happy that they are getting a shot at an HEA.

    The build up to this book was awesome. I wanted and needed to know all about Penn and the author did not disappoint. You get all the feels and then some, because some of the issues that come up were a wee difficult to sort through, but while this is fiction, things like this happen in RL. And I do hope that we get a bit more on the aftermath because there is part of the story that I really, really want more of…But on a happier note, the Titan’s ~ from the team to their partners ~ were all I could have asked for. They all showed what it means to be a family and it was awesome to watch them rally around Penn and Mila. And now we have Lucky up next. He may have been the newbie, but he definitely got himself seen and I cannot wait to get my hands on his book!

    While I’ve looked forward to many of Ms. Bennett’s books, I’m going to say that this one had more anticipation than any others to date. Ever since we first met Penn Navarro we knew his story was going to be epic. And boy is it! Buckle up because this story is taking you for a crazy ride!

    As expected we have a fantastic love story, but how we get there is where things get interesting. Very interesting! And because of spoilers just know with the twists and turns you will experience a fabulous read with emotion, steam and great storytelling that you get with this series!

    Love It - I never would have guessed that Penn was the way he was because of that one incident, and that the only other person to have a life disrupted because of it shows up on his doorstep, asking for help. This will lead you on a path of heartbreak, because of what happened to them and the threats to their lives. There is one surprise that I thought for sure would turn out to be fake.
