    I got this to try and compare with gentle iron capsule supplements for iron deficiency. The bottle arrived well sealed and the seems to feature the necessary regulatory marks and labels, which is not always the case for supplements on here. The flavor isn't bad, but the aftertaste is definitely there and it may be better to take it with something else to make it a bit more pleasant.
    It would've been nice if the bottle was packed in a retail box rather than being standalone as an extra box would help keep it cleaner and better protected while in transit/storage.

    I have yet to actually give this to my baby, so my review is based solely on the ingredients. There is absolutely no need to have sugar added to a baby supplement, and I’m quite disappointed I missed this before ordering. If your baby struggles with taking iron, this may be beneficial for them, and the added sugar may be a risk you’re willing to take if it means they get more iron… it’s a personal choice for you to make concerning your little one.

    Despite this, I will continue using this brand’s vitamin D because baby has been taking it much more easily compared to other brands.

    PediaFer™ Liquid Iron Supplement gives me mixed feelings. I have to take an iron supplement seeing I have low iron so I am always looking for different forms and kinds so this drew me in with the lemon flavour. It does have that very sweet lemonade flavour which when I took it I was impressed, however, it changes as it settles into that typical iron taste (blood) and that part lingers in your mouth. So while I enjoyed the initial intake, you really need a chaser at the end. Valid npn number and a long expiry date until 2027 although no indication as to whether it needs to be refrigerated after opening .

    for my toddler here in Canada to help prevent iron deficiency, and I was a bit worried about finding one she would actually take without a fuss. This one has been a game-changer!

    The great-tasting lemon flavour is a huge hit. She takes her daily teaspoonful (which provides 30mg of elemental iron) quite willingly, which makes my life so much easier – no more battles over medicine time! It’s such a relief knowing she’s getting the iron she needs for healthy red blood cell formation and to support her growth.

    I really appreciate that it's a trusted Canadian brand like Pediavit; it gives me extra confidence in the quality and formulation. The dosing is straightforward, and it's reassuring to know it’s specifically designed for children. If you're a parent in Canada looking for an effective and kid-friendly iron supplement

    The initial lemon flavour is good, but the after taste is rough! You will need a fruit juice chaser, especially if giving this to your kids. Otherwise, it's a good iron supplement that doesn't hurt my stomach or cause constipation or other issues.
