You are paying a premium for this but this clip works beautifully. I have this attached to my backpack shoulder strap. It's a really well build piece of gear and I truly enjoy using it. Keep in mind you also need to buy the Peak Design camera plate (that's compatible with your camera and/or tripod) for this to work.

Came nicely packaged, brand new. I use this on my hiking trips and honestly, its so sturdy, I never have to worry about my camera falling off. Just remember to tighten the screws (for both the hand-twist on screws and using the key to tighten it on to your strap). If you want hands-free quick access to your gear, look no further.

Only complaint, (this has NOTHING to do with the design of the clip) but just so you know ... issue is that if you have filters (ND filter with CPL) on your camera, it might rub against your clothes as the camera is on the clip. My ND filter eventually gotten loose over a period of time, rolled down the hill, landed on a certain angle and cracked the first layer of the filter! I was so sad, almost in tears. Just something to note if you're having filters on while wearing the peak design clip.

Otherwise, a great buy!

Mi spiego meglio, l'ho usata sulla cintura abbinata all'altro suo accessorio e se la si usa per "appoggiare" la reflex e far riposare braccia e mani o per cambiare obiettivo è perfetta, ma camminare con la reflex a ciondolo alla vita non è comodo; montata sugli spallacci di uno zaino è ottima (il miglior modo) ma...attenzione perché se gli spallacci sono imbottiti o spessi o presentano la "scalanatura" (il tubicino in plastica/gomma che serve per regolare la cintura pettorale che quasi tutti gli zaini fotografici o da montagna hanno) diventa molto difficile da montare o addirittura impossibile, quindi consiglio di verificare la compatibilità; su una tracolla il montaggio è semplice e fattibilissimo, peccato che però poi camminando facilmente il peso della reflex farà pendere la tracolla verso il basso finche troverete la reflex nella parte più bassa e la tasca della tracolla dietro verso la schiena). In definitiva, se trovate la giusta posizione dove applicarla è davvero ottima e sicura (oltre che comoda) ma a patto di trovare quella giusta posizione. Prezzo non economico e un filo troppo alto

J'ai testé la fixation et je peux dire que la facilité pour clipsé l'appareil est sans équivalent avec les autres fixations. J'utilise depuis plusieurs années ce type de fixation, mais j'avais acheté d'autres marques "moins cher". Je précise que je l'utilise sur un sac à dos Thule DSLR. Donc les bretelles sont assé larges et le peak design s'adapte parfaitement. Il est beaucoup plus plat que les autres et surtout les bords sont arrondis. ça parait un détail, mais si vous faite de la rando et que vous avez longtemps votre appareil sur la bretelle ça peut vite devenir gênant. Et là c'est pas le cas.
Et clipsage/déclipassage se fait beaucoup plus facilement. Autre point qui m'avait décidé de tenté le peak design, c'est le sabot de fixation qui est petit et carré, j'ai un Canon M50 et je peux laisser le sabot en permanence fixé et cela n'empêche pas d'ouvrir la trappe des batterie et carte SD. Su mon ancien il fallait que j'enlève le sabot pour y accéder.
Et astuce que je n'avais pas vu avant de l'acheter est qu'il suffit de faire une rotation d'1/4 sur le bouton de fixation pour passé en mode sécurisation de l'appareil. Donc plus d'angoisse de voire son précieux valdingué.
Bref, amis photographes je recommande.
