- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025Verified PurchaseI bought this wrist strap for use with my Fuji x100vi and it works extremely well. The quality of the strap and hardware is very good, and it looks great as well! The build quality is durable and should easily last many years.
The included clips allow you to connect your camera to the strap without worry, and it easily attaches and detaches as needed if you don’t want it connected all the time.
Definitely a worthwhile investment if you have a decent camera and don’t want to take any chances with a cheap brand that might fail you down the road.
With a Peak Design product you never have to worry about quality.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 18, 2025Verified PurchaseSimple, sturdy, and doesn't get in the way. I've enjoyed using this wrist strap, I even sometimes utilize its ability to wrap around my wrist as a sort of bracelet when not attached to the camera. This is a clever addition, having a little magnet hidden inside the strap. The peak design toggles/dongles/whatever are handy so I can quickly switch this strap between multiple cameras if I choose, without having to untie it or remove a buckle. I also got a matching neck strap, and it's great being able to switch between the two so easily.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 23, 2025Verified PurchaseI got the strap for my a6300. The cord for the anchors are too thick to fit inside the camera body's anchor holes, but works fine if you use the anchors that come with the camera.
The strap conveniently attaches and detaches from the anchors which is a big benefit compared to other straps that are permanently attached. The magnets in the strap to allow wearing it as a wrist strap when not attached is a nice touch, however is a bit bulky when you do so. Lastly, the ease of cinching the strap is the best feature. You can just let go of the camera and the strap will close around your wrist.
My only complaints for the strap is the materials of the strap used. For the price it doesn't seem as premium as other people say. I got the coyote color and thought the black material would be leather, but it's not. It seems similar to rain jacket material with a tighter knit. The actual strap (the tan color) "feels" cheap but from what I've seen in other reviews, should hold up.
TLDR:
Pros:
- Feels very secure
- Extremely convenient
- Bracelet feature is nice
Cons:
- Materials don't seem to match the price
- Too expensive for what it is.

- Reviewed in Canada on February 2, 2025Verified PurchaseI have gone from not having any PD products to owning several now. I’m a huge fan of the PD ecosystem - and this wrist strap fits in very nicely. Very solidly built and comfortable to wear. Easily adjustable. Attaches via the PD anchor system clips which means that you have considerable flexibility as to where you attach it. I have it attached to the clip of the PD wrist strap but you could attach to the camera anchor points, if not otherwise occupied, or to the PD base plate, which is conveniently compatible with Arca-Swiss tripod mount systems.
Great product. Highly recommend as an additional reassurance that your camera won’t meet an early demise.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 4, 2025Verified PurchaseThe quick connect on this is perfect. Himestly it's Peak Design and there isn't much to say about them other than everything else is junk in comparison.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 16, 2025Verified PurchaseIs it a strap that's of the absolute best quality that's perfect? Evident by the star rating, no. Is it worth the price for protecting your camera and making it easy? I think so, yes.
Peak Design's name is such for a reason. Not perfect, but it certainly has attained a peak of form and functionality. Swapping the cuff out to another camera is effortlessly easy, and their clip system (while very similar to plenty of others) gives you an incredibly strong, reassuring feeling that it won't drop your camera on you.
You can very likely get away with a cheaper strap that doesn't have some of the bells and whistles like a little magnet that helps keep the strap folded when not in use, but if you really value your gear, it's worth the money in my books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Camera cuff with a little extra
Verified PurchaseGreat little cuff. The anchor system is really easy to use and can be replaced separately from the cuff itself. Comes with 2 so don't imagine I will need to do that for a while.
There is movable Margret in the leather like material which allows you to turn it into a bracelet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits perfectly with my Ricoh GRiii
Verified PurchaseI had to use the floss trick to get the strap to fit into the camera’s lanyard hole but it was worth it since I trust this more than thinner lanyards. The bracelet feature is nice and I like that the lanyard piece is all black rather than black and red like the other straps they sell. I actually don’t cinch the strap and it’s kinda nice that way but I still have the option to when I’m feeling like it needs to be more secure.
Great build quality and style and opens you up to the whole ecosystem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Safe, secure and comfortable.
Verified PurchaseA perfect addition to my Ricoh GRIIIx. It’s reassuring knowing my camera is going nowhere. It’s definitely a safe and secure connection between the camera and the strap. And it’s comfortable on the wrist. The only negative, how long it took to thread the strap’s connection through the incredibly small/challenging opening on the corner of the GRIIIx.
btezraSafe, secure and comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really good product - as expected
Verified PurchasePeak design don't cut corners in terms of product quality and use and customer experience. This product is no difference, it's only about personal preference regarding how you want to hold your camera (my husband prefers to PD sling, which I can't get on with).
I feel like my camera (fuji xt-5) is super-safe, and easy to hold because of the strap - it gives me confidence as I use it out and about.
