Directions

The bottle for this cleanser is very convenient and easy to use. It is a beautiful blue colour and has a pump that is extremely easy to use. Often I read reviews for face washes where people say you only need one or two pumps to get the job done, and yet I have a totally different experience from that. I find with many cleansers you need a few pumps to actually cover everywhere and for your face to truly feel clean and washed. If the product is expensive, this quickly adds up and does not become economical.

I can finally say that with this cleanser that you truly do not need more than a couple of pumps to cover everywhere and feel like your face is clean and washed. It lathers extremely well and feels very light on the skin. When I am done washing my face, my skin does not feel stripped or dry but lightly moisturized and yet not in a way where my face feels oily or greasy.

I also love that it is paraben free and fragrance free which is very important for me in my skincare. $35 is expensive for most people when purchasing a face wash, that includes me, but due to how little of this product I have to use compared to many other brands I am actually thinking that it ends up being a great value. Even though I am on a budget I am really considering repurchasing this cleanser just because of how I like it so much and how it gets the job done with very little product needed. If it continues to last me a long time, which I think it will, I will most definitely be repurchasing.

I really like this foaming face wash that is targeted to normal to oily skin. It has a nice texture and is unscented. The bottle is a decent size. I notice that my face feels soft and does not feel really dry after washing. This face wash has both hyaluronic acid and aloe to help the skin. I have been using this for a few days and I do really like it, but I have not noticed any change in the appearance of my pores. It is great at removing make-up and I am really happy with that. Overall, this cleanser is effective at cleaning my skin and that is the only quality that I am looking for in a cleanser. This cleanser is a little more expensive that I usually use, but I feel that it is worth it. Great product.

Easy to use and package sealed properly so easy to identify tempered bottles. I do find the 30 dollar price point to be high for a small bottle like this, so this is not the best value. But could be worth and try and see if it works well for your skin type. I found this to be ok on pretty oily skin.

I usually take off the makeup with makeup remover oil first, then use a foam cleanser (preferably fragrance and color free) to double cleanse my face. I have had this night routine for over 20 years. This Paula's Choice RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser is perfect for double cleanse. It foams up well. The foam is just about the right amount (I actually don't like how some face wash foaming up too many bubbles). It cleanses off the residue of the makeup remover oil very well. A little goes a long way so even if the bottle is not that big, I think it will last for quite some time.

I like using a gentle cleanser after a sweaty workout, and this one works really well without making my skin feel tight or dry. The formula is packed with hydrating and barrier-supporting ingredients like ceramides, cholesterol, and sunflower oil, so it cleans while keeping the skin’s moisture intact.
It’s definitely on the pricier side for the size, but I find I don’t even need a full pump to cleanse my face and neck. It’s super creamy and foams up more than I expected, so this bottle will last longer than it looks. If you want something that cleans without stripping, this is a great choice.

This cleanser works well and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It lathers up lightly, but I did find the need to rinse more - or I'd be left with a faint feeling of residue on my skin - compared to other products I've used.

The product is advertised as unscented, however, there is a minute, natural scent. The brand, Paula's Choice, seems to be one of those that mixes up fragrance-free and unscented: Typically, "unscented" means that fragrances are added to neutralize natural odours whereas fragrance-free means just that - no fragrance-type ingredients whatsoever. All of this is to say that, as someone with cosmetic chemistry experience, I can vouch that this "unscented" product, as listed, is fragrance-free for those who actually have issues with fragrance ingredients.

As for the major critique, at $35 for 190 mL, the value isn't that great compared to other similar cleansers with the same traits. There are cheaper options on �鶹�� for gentle cleansers starting from $17 like Cerave's lineup. That said, everyone's skin is different, so if it works then it works, but I would recommend continuing to shop around to find a more cost-effective option.
