    We lost one of the keys to our cabinet baby proof locks and only having one magnet for 10 or more locks was becoming a nuisance. I was worried about some of the reviews that I saw where people were saying that the polarity wasn't correct and it wouldn't open the latches, but definitely not a problem for us. This style of magnet is exactly the same (except for the design on the magnet itself) as the ones that came with our cabinet kit. The magnet is strong enough to open all of the different latches that we have in the kitchen and I'm very pleased to have extra ones available so that we aren't relying on just one key.

    We have the Mt Minn cabinet locks. These locks are weaker than the Mt Minn Cabinet locks and don't work most of the time. We've had to rip two of our cabinets open so far. They're not universal as stated. Returning them and trying another replacement set from another brand. Wish Mt Minn sold replacements for their locks!
