Bought this awhile back just to have a DVD player in the living room. It served perfectly well, no complaints.

More recently, my Smart TV died and I had to replace it with a non-smart one with no internet capabilities. At that point I started using the Blu-Ray player's Internet functions - streaming Netflix and YouTube - and am pleased to say they work decently well! There is VERY noticable input delay when browsing Youtube menus on the player, but it works, and has been my sole source of watching media on my TV for the last year or so.

All in all, a great device for the cost.

it arrived as described, quick and undamaged as we've come to expect from amazon. however, it just doesn't work. no matter how we tried to connect it, it could not find netflix, wired, wireless, it didn't matter. it refused to connect to netflix's servers. i have no idea if it played dvd's or not because the tray door won't open. there's no tape on the door, it says it's open on the screen. it just doesn't open in actuality. this is the point i'd had enough and put it back in the box. 0/5 would not buy again.
