This set of six rolls of coloured masking tape arrived packaged inside two sealed layers of cellophane (or plastic), and even before I opened the outer layer, the smell was very strong. It is an odour very reminiscent of paint and thinners, definitely chemical in nature. I have been using masking tape for many years, and on occasion I have purchased it in colours such as green, blue, and red. None of those rolls has had any noticeable smell. In any case, aside from the smell, I really like this tape. I usually use a wider tape, but I discovered that the extra width was really not necessary. I mainly use it for labelling Mason jars full of my pickles, etc., as well as other jars with dry goods for storage. One line is all I need for writing the date and, if needed, the name of the contents. I wanted the different colours so that I can use a different colour for each year's produce. This tape sticks very well, and just as importantly, it takes regular pen ink and permanent marker without smearing or blurring. The strength of the adhesion seems to me to be similar to what I find with freezer tape, and I may try using it for that, as well. I have not had this tape long enough to be able to test how easily it will remove after several months' time, but when I tried it on a few different surfaces (wood, plastic, glass), it peeled up neatly with no tearing and no residue. It is also worth noting that it stuck well even when I neglected to wipe the dust off the surface first. I don't think I will be able to use one of the red colours for my purposes, because the dark red and the pale red are too similar. On the product listing page, this pale red is actually referred to as pink, but to me it really looks more like a faded or washed-out red. However, I'm sure I will find use for it for something else. Going back for a moment to the issue of the smell, I would feel better about it if the product came with some kind of explanatory sticker, maybe a reference to a new adhesive formulation that is responsible, and also some kind of information about whether or not it will fade over time. For anyone not bothered by side issues like smell, I feel confident in recommending this tape.

This 6-roll colored masking tape set is great for arts, crafts, labeling, and decorations! The colors are a bit dull compared to the pictures. They arent as bright as I thought they would be. The tape seems to stick well but isnt too sticky that it cant be removed. It doesnt leave a residue which is great. I wish it was stronger adhesive and a little thicker. This is very thin tape so it breaks somewhat easily. The size is just right for DIY projects, classroom use, or organizing. A good choice for teachers, crafters, and anyone who loves creative projects and wants to add a different colour to the mix.

This set of masking tape is great for home or school usage. it comes with six rolls in different colours (including one whitish-beige standard masking tape colour). The tape is slightly translucent so can show some detail through depending on what you're taping over. If you tape across black lines, for example, you can probably see a slight shadow of those lines through the colour of the tape. If you tape over wood grain, meanwhile, it doesn't really show through clearly enough to notice.

The tape tears off easily but adheres well (as any other masking tape would) and works well to label things. It's easy to write on and stays stuck on until you peel it off. It then peels off quite easily without leaving globs of residue.

These are however narrower than standard masking tape rolls, so that is something to keep in mind. Still, this is a nice little set of colourful options for organizing and crafts.

This set of 6 different colour masking tapes is great for crafting. The rolls aren’t huge but you do get 6. Plus the feel of the tape is more like washi tape than a heavy duty masking tape. I used it for making cards with watercolours and it peeled off cleanly and didn’t let any water seep through. Overall, this was a good purchase and it meets my crafting needs.

I'm a big fan of Painter's Tape even though I almost never use it for masking before painting. Instead, I find it makes terrific removable labels for various objects including recloseable plastic bags. Green tape is my favourite because it contrasts nicely with a black permanent marker. Lately it has been hard to find. Blue just isn't as readable.

The colour options in this assortment were almost perfect for my usage. I was surprised at how much smaller these are than a standard roll of masking tape (see photo). Even so, still OK for labelling. I did find the tape a bit thinner and less opaque than usual, so I was concerned my marker would bleed through onto the object. I wrote it while still on its tiny roll instead. The adhesive was just right. Sticky enough to stay in place for many weeks or months, but still easy to remove without leaving glue residue behind (see photo).

If the vendor sold it in a more opaque/wider version, I'd buy a ton of this Terrific Tiny Tacky Technicolor Tape. Highly recommended.
