    This is awesome as a portable drawing desk.
    It's very light and flat, and the spring clamp is superb.
    If you plan on using it outdoors, or to greatly increase it's life expectancy, spray 3-4 coats of clear-coat on it before using.
    It's made from fine particle board which does absorb moisture but clear-coat everywhere can turn it into something truely amazing.
    10 Stars on weight, you will barely know you are carrying it.
    10 stars on flatness and surface tension, like a desk.
    10 stars on the clamp, clamp an entire pad or a single sheet.
    You really will not find a better pad for use as a portable drawing surface.

At $20+ here, I think it’s overpriced. It is made of MDF with a surface rather like countertop material. Looks to be waterproof as they claim.
