I try to leave reviews for at least the things about which I am the most sceptical. This was one of those things. I had a skin tag in a spot under my arm where I couldn’t reach to tie it off by myself, so I decided to give this a try.
I was pleasantly surprised when it worked exactly as you’d hope. I can’t imagine how big a skin tag would have to be to use the larger of the two devices. I’ve only used the smaller one.
The tricky bits: (1) be patient and use only the fleshy parts of your finger (no nails) to roll the elastic up the cone onto the post, (2) don’t push too hard on the surface of your skin with the device before releasing the elastic… place the post over the tag gently to make sure the elastic comes off at the base of the tag. Pushing it into your skin makes the tag retreat into the divot of skin and you may end up catching the skin tag halfway up instead of at its base.
My tag took about a week to fall off, but it came off cleanly.
