Ingredients
- 200g sushi rice
- 1-2 sheet nori seaweed by Elo's Premium
- 2 tbsp sushi vinegar by Elo's Premium
- 4-6oz Sashimi grade salmon or sashimi grade tuna
- 4-6 cucumber strips
- Roasted white sesame seeds (optional)
- Soy sauce
How To Make
Maki Sushi Rolls
Classic Japanese sushi
- Cook sushi rice, once finished add sushi vinegar and cover to avoid drying out
- Once you have your sushi rice prepared, prepare the makisu rolling mat
- Place a sheet of nori on the mat and cover two thirds of the side of your nori with sushi rice
- Add your ingredients in a line on top of the rice in the centre
- Start rolling up the ingredients away from you, while keeping the roll tight.
- Cut the roll into 6-8 pieces top with sesame seeds (optional) and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, sushi ginger
