What should I do if the VR headset can't find my computer?

Changing the Puppis S1's network connection from public to private (on Windows 11, it's located on "Network & internet > Ethernet > Network profile type > Private".)
What should I do if the indicator light is orange and the app says "Restricted to Stream"?

It displays the link rate and signal strength, but actual speed can vary due to interference and signal quality. It adjusts automatically, and relocating the product may help. If streaming is smooth, there's no need to worry.
What should I do if the streaming experience is poor?

1. Upgrade to the latest firmware.

2. Reset Puppis S1, Reboot your computer and VR

3. Manually select a Wi-Fi channel using a third-party software tool like WiFi Analyzer by Matt Hafner. Then, manually set up the 5G Wi-Fi channel in your PrismXR App.
After using the Puppis S1, the download speed of the computer has become slower.

Method 1: Set network priority on the computer. Prioritize the network the computer is connected to.

Method 2: Use PC Internet Sharing with the Puppis S1. In this case, the computer will use its own network connection.
How can I connect my computer to the Puppis S1 if there’s no USB-A port?

1. Use a USB-C cable to connect your PC and Puppis S1. Ensure the cable supports USB 3.0 and 3A or higher.

2. Use a USB-C hub that supports USB 3.0 and PD charging. Connect the USB-C hub to a charger with a power output of 10W or more.

Connecting this to my PC just to stream my games is absolutely FANTASTIC. Super low latency, high bit rate through put.

ONLY ISSUE is getting windows internet sharing to work. I am 89% sure this is a windows issue, like Puppis can't fix this with software, but getting it to properly stream internet to my Quest 3 is a nightmare. Probably issues with a VPN on the computer, and having other network stuff. I WISHED there was a hardware method of connecting the Puppis to the internet (Like Ethernet) to make this work. But alas, windows has defeated me.

Edit: From 3 to 5 stars

Still sorta janky, but I got a replacement and now it works flawlessly.
Some HAWT TIPS:
1. Give windows like a 1minute to think and stuff
2. VPN do work, just restart the pc, launch the PC drivers and your vpn, and give it like a minute to process
3. DON'T use PC internet sharing, just using wifi sharing instead. Windows is bad and will break things
4. If you have issues, the company should help you out. But I think I just had a defective unit, but these tips helped me make it work well.

Pros:
1. Mobile App made it easy to set up
2. The connection works and is seamless
3. It does make a difference when connecting meta quest 3 to PC to play PC VR games. Less lagging and less disconnection.
4. Router having feature to switch between 3 modes is helpful.
5. It is very small and compact. It will not take much space.
6. They have support in place via discord which is helpful.

Cons:
1. If you don't follow instructions, it will cause confusion during set up.
2. The wire/cable needs to be a little longer for more ease of placement or organizing purposes.

So far I do not have any issues yet.

Overall, this is great! The customer service from PrismXR is top notch !

If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles, it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for Prism-XR at this micro-instant. For this router. HATE. HATE.

This thing has been nothing but trouble since the day I bought it. One thing after another. Don't get me wrong, when it's working. It works amazingly. But it rarely works. For the past week it has refused to connect to my pc and practically turmed itself into e-waste that's cluttering my desk. Would absolutely recommend if you love pulling your hair out trying to get this overly convoluted hunk of plastic to actually work.

Just recieved the puppis S1 4 hours ago, and i have to say its better then the d-link air bridge

I only got 2 complaints,

1. It requires a cell phone with the prismxr app to set this thing up, can't use a pc

2. This dedicated router doesn't support dual band compatibility (e.g you can't use an older AC rated router for internet) while using the quest 3 at the same time, luckily enough my wifi extender connects to it just fine so i get internet that way

Now for the Good

1. setup was very quick and easy to do just a few taps on the phone and the quest 2 and 3 was ready to go

2. i get between 1900 to 2400 mbps all the time with the 2.4ghz internet connected through the Puppis s1 with no lag at all.. so i don't know what other people were complaining about on here

3. Vs the air bridge, its wwwaaayyyy more reliable
And you don't have to spend an hour setting it up everytime you want to play pc vr games over wifi

It just works

4. I can set virtual desktop to the max streaming settings and it runs perfect, the screen is very clear and high resolution vs going hard wired into my ac2400 router or connecting with the D-link air bridge that both had lag and video compression on my quest 2 and 3

5. As a added bonus, you don't need the oculus software to run pc vr games with the Puppis s1 unlike the Air Bridge

So i guess 5 stars from me, this thing is 100% reliable and well worth the import fee into Canada

PS. Stay away from the D-link air bridge, its very unreliable and its complete hell to get working every time also i owned 2 air bridge's and both died within a year

This device is genius. A dedicated and clear connection with your HMD, no interference whatsoever.
All you need is 2 free USB ports, or in my case I used a (separate) usb-c connection.
Power and ethernet to the Prismxr via usb. 10-20 minutes and few trial and errors in setting up later you have your wireless pcvr set-up ready. Works better than my 5ghz AP I set-up solely for my Q3. And it was cheaper than buying a new router for this purpose too. Money well spent.

I used this with a Quest 3 and, while it worked well with the VR headset, it interfered with my Flydigi wireless controller.

The controller would suddenly stop responding and hold the last input I gave it for several seconds. This happened every few minutes. I originally thought it was the controller, but the problem went away when I unplugged the router.

I didn’t want to reconnect and disconnect this router every time I wanted to use the Quest headset, so I replaced it with a standard WiFi 7 router, and haven’t had any controller problems since.

***UPDATE*** The manufacturer contacted me and sent me another unit to test. It did still interfere with the Flydigi wireless controller, but not other wireless controllers (Xbox, for example). So, I upped the star rating to reflect a helpful, responsive company. And, unless you’re using a wireless Flydigi controller, I can recommend this router.
