    I have a torn meniscus and these bandages were great for the extra support I need. The metal fasteners are good but the pointed edges of them are easy broken - this is the same for all of the bandages that use this type of fastener. Press them at one end gently to unfasten them and make sure to have 2 layers of the bandage where you are using them -otherwise they can press into your skin. I have used the bandages every day for 3 weeks and there are some definite signs of wear but still retain elasticity. I would re purchase.
