  • SELF PROPELLED: This wheelchair has been designed to be self-propelled by the user using the large diameter rear wheels, or by another person using the handles. It is designed for people with mobility problems or who have a physical disability but with sufficient autonomy to be able to self-propel themselves safely.
  • RESISTANT: In addition to its sturdy steel frame, the solid polyurethane front and wide wheels stand out for its large dimensions. They can become loose with use, so the chair itself integrates a spanner that helps to tighten them again. The rear wheels have a wrinkled design that allows a better grip and prevents possible slipping.
  • FOLDING: In addition to its folding armrests that facilitate a better transfer of the user, it has removable height-adjustable footrests and a quick folding system. Thanks to its small dimensions when folded (31.5" x 36" x 11.5"), this wheelchair can be easily stored and transported.
  • COMFORTABLE: The wheelchair has padded armrests that provide greater comfort to the user and a small rear pocket ideal for storing belongings. Also, the step lift lever on the rear wheels allows the wheelchair to overcome any obstacle in complete safety. Seat height: 19".
  • SAFE: The locking brake system that is activated by pushing the front lever completely immobilises the wheelchair. Moreover, its structure is made of steel which makes it more resistant and has a safety belt that offers greater user support. Maximum user weight: 250 lbs.

    I bought this because my local pharmacy only rents chairs with small wheels. The chair is sturdy, very comfortable, and looks top quality to me. After 1 month of use, I have had no issues so far. However, I would say the footrests are a little too high, so it might be a good idea to buy a cushion. Also, the chair is a bit small, so if you are overweight, you may need to look for some larger models. I am 5'7 and my waist size is 36" and I can fit in it comfortably. Anything larger than 40" might be risky.
