The tire spacing on my RV is just about 3” and so when I saw these listed at 2-1’4” I was all in. It wasn’t until the package arrived that I realized I read the information wrong, and that the part that rests up against the wheels are 2-1/4”, but the smallest collapsable size is 4-1/4”. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was to see this, as the wheel chocks (or stabilizers) look to be really well made. The carrying handle is nice and big, the fact that the stabilizers can be expanded and retracted with either a socket bit or a wrench (both of which were included with the package), just makes this a total win! I will caution you about over retracting, as I managed to have the locking washer pop off, but it was an easy fix to put it back on again. My brother has an RV and judging from the pictures I have, his wheel spacing looks to be about 5”-6” so I will have to try it out on his camper when I see him next. Obviously I can’t comment on how they help with the rocking/moving motion you get when inside as I can’t use them, but I’ll be sure to update this post as soon as I get a chance to try them out.
