PEAKTOW RV 5th Wheel Stabilizer adds great stability to the front of your 5th wheel. It is for use with 5th wheels whose coaches have a king pin height of 38-1/2 inches to 50 inches. It features a tripod construction for easy set-up and concave pads for multiple heights. Major height adjustments are made by simply moving the adjustable foot pads inward or outward, minor adjustments are made at the screw level with the provided stabilizing adjusting lever. The 5th wheel stabilizer comes fully assembled and has a steel tube construction with chrome chain. It folds down for easy storage and has a certified 5000 pound load capacity. You can set leg spread with adjuster chain for rough tripod height adjustment, use screw leveler for fine height adjustments

Why do you need a 5th wheel stabilizer? These stabilizers are primarily used for fifth wheels and towable travel trailers. They have been designed to inhibit any movement after parking your camper. Nobody will want to spend time in an RV that moves back and forth or feels like it’s sinking in the ground. It is hard to relax in an RV that is not level.

    I assemble and tested the item within less than 5 minutes very straight forward and easy to deploy. I use wood pads to distribute the weight. Once assembled and installed you can immediately notice the stability enhancement! No more rocking left and right! We did camp in pretty windy condition and we hope with this we will less feel in a boat! Time will tell I will update the review if anything changes! Thanks!

    Unfortunately, I did not know that it could have different height for 5th wheel king pin. I did not measure mine before ordering, and found that this item was to short for my fifth wheel. On my case it will work only whem the land goes uphill from back to front, so when my front jack are smaller, but in this case the 5th wheel almost does not move so I do not really need this item for that case. For the other two cases, level land or downhill land from barck to front, where my front jack are more extended, this item is simply too short. I made a quick shearch and I did not find extension legs available for this items unfortunately. This item is well built, but I have no other choice than to return it and look for something esle that will be taller. If your king pin is lower than mine and the maximum height of this one fit your needs, I reccomand it.
