PB Motor Tech vacuum chamber is provided with a thick tempered glass lid. It is suitable for silicone degassing, lab experiments, chemical industry, especially perfect for stabilizing wood and experiments with volitile compounds, etc.

Before using this vacuum chamber, please read the included instructions carefully.

Due to the risk of the acrylic crystal lid cracking during wood stabilization and experimentation with volatile compounds, we have upgraded this product to feature a tempered glass lid.

  • This vacuum chamber with tempered glass lid is specially designed for stabilizing wood, because wood stabilizing resins and volitile compounds are highly corrosive to polycarbonate and acrylic. Thus the acrylic crystal lid may crack soon in the wood stabilizing operation.
  • In order to achieve better sealing, the new batches of vacuum chamber are provided with two rubber seals, if the item you received does not have two rubber seals, please send email to the seller for help.

Before using this vacuum chamber, please read the included instructions carefully. Due to the risk of the acrylic crystal lid cracking during wood stabilization and experimentation with volatile compounds, we have upgraded this product to feature a tempered glass lid.

Constructed of high-strength stainless steel, this chamber boasts excellent corrosion, heat, and chemical resistance, allowing it to maintain a high vacuum for several hours. The accurate gauge has undergone specialized treatment to provide precise readings, and the outlet valve includes an air filter to reduce airflow and prevent dust and debris from entering the chamber. The silicone gasket is sturdy and chemically resistant to solvents like butane.

The tempered glass lid is impact-resistant and specifically designed to accommodate wood stabilization and volatile compound experimentation. Its large, transparent window offers excellent visibility during use. This vacuum chamber has a volume of 3 gallons and measures 9.9” x 9.9” x 5.9” (25.2 x 25.2 x 15 cm) without the lid and 11.2” (28.5 cm) in diameter with the lid.
