While it's still too early to provide a meaningful review of this high-end communication technology, I truly believe that this Panasonic phone will provide you peace of mind due to its various features, including the silent time, a period of time of your choosing where no incoming phone rings would be allowed to disturb your sleep or quiet time. I also love the fact that I can block unwanted calls; I can have many caller groups; the answering machine, the intercom etc. This is a great machine that I am still learning to use to its full potential. I have been very pleased with my purchase and excited! Very good sound quality etc. Like you, it took me quite some time before making my decision to purchase this item, which I don't regret up to now.
