My other controllers seem to be prone to a slight to moderate drift, but this Palpow controller has something called hall effect joysticks which is supposed to give smoother performance and eliminate drift. The motion control has indeed been responsive and smooth with no drift. The turbo function is great for my aging fingers, as a lot of button mashing can make my hands sore, but even the kids enjoy being able to spam attacks with ease. The back buttons are interesting, I haven’t decided the best way to use them yet but I’m always a fan of customization options. The vibration feedback is strong and adjustable, allowing you to find the perfect balance of feedback that’s strong enough for proper immersion without getting annoying. If I’m being honest, my family’s favorite feature is the colored lights. 7-colors in total, with a cool “breathing” effect, if you want to enable that option. The lights are super bright and vibrant in a dim room, but even in a brightly lit room it’s surprisingly good. The fact that it comes with a charging dock is great, the fact that the charging dock lights up as well in a seamless pattern makes it very cool. It is also functional because it lights up red while charging and turns green when charging is completed. Not just a small LED like you usually see on a charging dock, the whole thing lights up in that cool pattern. My only problem now is that my kids fight over this one, so I might have to purchase a 2nd one…

For the first custom Bluetooth controller I have ever bought, I am pretty happy with the overall quality of this Switch Pro Controller. On the surface, it looks like a simple plain white gamepad, but in darker places the switch controller wireless really shines with its 7 different colours illuminating a hidden Mario themed design scattered across the whole surface. It comes with a charging dock that synchronizes in colour with the controller itself when plugged in, making for a very visually appealing display piece on my shelf. Regarding the controller itself, it feels great to hold and is pretty much an upgrade in every way compared to standard PS4 controllers (which is my gamepad of reference). The buttons are clicky and satisfying to press and the joysticks are nice quality with a slight rough texture around the outside to make gripping easier. As is likely standard with other custom controllers, it comes with extra buttons on the backside of the nintendo switch controller for extra customizability. Lastly, for any steam users, I've tested its compatibility with PC and it works great with no issues so far.

I used this Nintendo switch controller on my PC and Bluetooth connectivity is simple and stable. I played through Steam and, although I had a bit of trouble with the controls at first, it was simple to choose a layout and customize it to my liking. The instructions for lighting it up are clear, and I love that you can change the LED colors using the button on the bottom.
