    If you're like me, you believe spending hundreds, even thousands of dollars on patio furniture is just downright stupid. It sits outside, and even if you cover it, it's got a limited lifespan. And you only use it for about 3 to 4 months of the year.

    I was casually browsing patio sets on 鶹 and came across this one. At the time, it was slightly cheaper than it is now, but the moment I saw it, I ordered it. How could I go wrong?

    It arrived in an incredibly small box, and I worried that I had somehow misunderstood what I was buying. But no, it was all there, very carefully and intelligently packed.

    Assembly is easy for someone who is handy, but it's very fussy. Tip: don't fully tighten anything until you've got everything put together. Another tip: make sure all the screw holes are not blocked or even partially blocked.

    Went together very well, with very clear instructions. Somebody really thought about this entire product, from design to assembly to packaging. It's plastic "wicker" over a frame, and it's quite solid. It looks great. The pillows are comfortable.

    Two complaints: The back is much lower than I thought it would be, and you have to sit very close to it for it to support you. And the plastic wicker is really slippery, so the long pillow just slides off when you sit close to the backrest. I put some velcro on the pillow, and that solved it.

    If you're in the market for a basic, comfortable, reasonably stylish casual patio set, this is the one.

    This will not work if you have heavy people wanting to sit on this furniture. A couple of the 'fittings' didn't fit when I assembled. It was much smaller than what the photo presented.
