Grommets in flag and adjustable rings and carabiner in poles makes it easy to remove and it will not tangle. I probably could have gotten 1 size smaller than the 3'x5' as I didn't realize how large this is but I'm already using it so I don't mind. The pole is sturdy and I can adjust the height by using less screw in 1' sections. I've planted it in my flower bed where the soil is not very compact so I need to secure it with some string, but in a lawn where it was designed to be planted it should be fine. Advice: the flag arrives vacuume sealled which is great, but you should open it a few days before you want to use it to allow the creases to relax. Alternatively a steamer could work, or if you are comfortable using a sheet over the flag while you GENTLE iron. There are no fabric care instructions, but being a synthetic I would be extremely cautious about washing or applying any type of heat in case the colors bleed or fabric melts.
