Overall, I'm happy with it. The tool is solidly built and does what it's supposed to do. I find the bottom bracket socket to be a little too long (deep) and it seems to slip out if you don't have it lined up exactly right which can lead to bruised knuckles... With a little force, a lot of careful attention, and a good wrench/breaker bar, it will remove even the most stubbornly seized bottom bracket.

I bought this for the bottom bracket tool, but thought I'd get the set thinking it would be handy to have a full kit and the kit was only a few $ more than Bottom Bracket alone. Wrong. The Bottom Bracket tool worked fine, avg quality so 3 stars.

However, the crank removal tool threads were already stripped - looked like it was dropped in manufacturing and failed QA - I wasn't going to use it on my crank. The spanner that comes with the kit is ONLY for the Crank Removal tool and does not fit the Bottom Bracket tool.

Bottom line is that this product as a set is a fail, but as a bottom bracket tool only, it works. I'd recommend getting only the Bottom Bracket tool and save yourself the few extra $, hence the lower value for money score. I would not recommend this tool for regular use, but for the DIY tune up it's does the job.

Gli attrezzi fanno il suo ma bisogna saperli usare. Prima di tutto buttate la chiave in dotazione e prenderne una pi�� robusta e pi�� lunga e dotatevi di una mazza di gomma. Per togliere le pedivelle ho dovuto usare la mazza e insistere, per togliere il movimento centrale dovete attrezzarci di un bullone M8 testa esagonale, lungo 50 mm circa con la rondella. La chiave per togliere il movimento centrale va inserita nelle scanalature e poi va avvitata al perno del movimento centrale con il bullone che passa attraverso il suo foro centrale. La rondella impedisce che la chiave esca dalle scanalature, il tutto diventa un corpo unico. A questo punto potete usare la chiave e anche la mazza se serve senza rischiare di strappare le scanalature. Anche in questo caso io ho dovuto usare la mazza. Attenzione alla direzione, un lato e sinistrorso e l'altro destrorso.
