Only one month old and the kettle seems to be shorting out...? the light dims and goes out before the water boils, the water stops boiling and then the light comes back on again and boiling resumes... this happens over and over. I suspect it might be shorting out. I've owned two other kettles just like it but they never did this... That being said, the description reads: 5 TEMPERATURE SETTINGS to conveniently steep different tea varieties... so now I'm wondering if this might be due to a setting that I changed unintentionally but I am unable to find the 5 temp settings... if this is due to an electrical short, I'd like to return and replace with one that works... if this is due to settings, please advise where I might locate the 5 temp settings. Thanks so much
