    The kettle isn't working as it should after two and half months of usage. The power doesn't stay on and the kettle keeps turning on and off by itself. The push button seems to be faulty as well. I bought it as the item had so many great reviews. I used cheaper kettles before and they lasted me so long. I had a high hope and I am very dissapointed as now I have to buy another one.

    Only one month old and the kettle seems to be shorting out...? the light dims and goes out before the water boils, the water stops boiling and then the light comes back on again and boiling resumes... this happens over and over. I suspect it might be shorting out. I've owned two other kettles just like it but they never did this... That being said, Oster replaced the kettle given that it was still under warranty. Thanks so much
