    I like that this thing folds right up into a compact size that you can easily toss in your backpack or laptop bag, and it's light enough that you don't even know it's there. Works well as a selfie stick, and the legs fold out from the base to turn it into a makeshift tripod, which is a neat little extra feature. As a mini-tripod, I find it isn't as useful as a full-sized tripod unless you either like very low-angle shots, OR if can find some nearby surface to rest it on, like a large rock or something. Would be great if it could extend a bit taller in tripod mode, but that would affect the weight and the portability, so I understand why it is the way it is.

    First impression it doesn't feel solid, legs are plastic and the hinges feels like it will break if you are not careful. The screw that moves the ballhead is also plastic. I don't know maybe they are trying to cut down the weight, but if that's the case, I think the price should be cut down in half as well. I'm just used to my carbon fibre tripods, so this one feels cheap to me. Not rugged enough for the "action" camera that it should hold. Sending it back.
