Not able to hold the joycons sideways; more suitable for Mario Party and Just Dance
1) Fits fine on the Switch 2 joycons. 2) Held on using the magnets. 3) Need to use the eject button to take these covers off. 4) a) I wouldn't use these when trying to hold the controller sideways. Just like in product picture 4. 4) b) When trying to press on the SR button, my palm kept hitting the R button. See attached image 1. 4) c) When pressing on the SR button, the only way to avoid hitting the R button, I had to change my grip on the joycon. See attached image 2. 4) d) Unfotunately, holding the joycon in this changed grip, I wasn't able to press on the joystick or any of the face buttons. 4) e) I didn't take off any stars for this because this is exactly how it was with the joycon 1. The difference is the joycon 1 are smaller. So, I don't remember hitting R with my palm. 4) f) If you want to hold the joycon sideways then I would suggest buying a set of controller (or handle) grips for the joycons. They are shaped like a pro controller. 5) I believe these joycon covers are meant to hold the joycon for when playing Mario Party or Just Dance. See product picture 2. I can recommend these joycon 2 covers with wrist straps.
