    Had to return only one I used and it stripped out, while using metal cutter cooler flud with it but made it cut good into the first pass but after that I don't think I'd be holding up thru a 3rd or 4th operation
    (p.s i didn't use a impact gun either)

    Another bail out from Orion lol... I stripped out the threads on my axle being inpatient, I thought my only other option was to replace the entire axle, I found this on 鶹, I had the threads chased and repaired in 10 minutes! Thank goodness! Will buy from Orion again!

    What else can I say, this kit just paid for itself 10x in the first 5 mins of use. Saved me at least $350 for a new axle plus the shipping cost. I damaged the threads on a 2015 Toyota Venza XLE AWD drivers side axle. The old castle nut may not have been completely cleared where the safety punch locks to the axle. Regardless the 22mm x 1.5 cleared up the damaged threads easily and the new castle nut went on with no issue. Highly recommended if you do your own car maintenance! I can hardly even tell that the cutter has any wear on it at all.

    So much cheaper than buying a new CV axle!

    I forgot to "undent" the axle nut before powering it off with an impact wrench, fouling the threads pretty much the whole length. I spent 30 minutes slowly using the M22x1.5 to re-groove them and I could spin the nut by hand! Absolutely saved me a $$$ mechanic bill!

    This little set paid for itself many times over. I bought a steering knuckle to replace a bad bearing on my Corolla. The new bearing was bad. When removing the part I had just finished replacing I was tired and impatient. I stripped my axle threads in the process. A new axle would have been a few hundred dollars but this die set fixed it up pretty easily. The dies feel solid and strong. The socket part that is included was really helpful with getting through the really mangled parts where it would get stuck. Worth its weight in axles.
