Better design and thicker steel than some others
The screw assembly of this tool is thicker than some other similar tools which means more threads and a stronger more durable tool. The screw assembly fits into the plate like a T slot with support on both sides of the plate. The plate is just shy of 9/16" of an inch thick which is plenty of material. I attempted to remove the hub assembly from a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 (6 lug hub) but was not successful. The knuckle on these trucks doesn't give a lot of good places to drive the screw onto, there is one good spot but not an equally good spot 180 degrees to rotate pressure. I think if I had of soaked the hub and knuckle with penetrating oil and applied force and left it overnight I may have been successful but since I have an hydraulic press I removed the entire knuckle took it to my press and went that route, and even that had a hard time getting this apart. If I had the luxury of time I would have preferred to give this tool and some penetrating oil some time to work rather than take the knuckle off. Given the force I had on this tool and I didn't destroy the threads I think it is better quality than some others I have seen. I think the fact that the screw assembly is thicker makes a big difference.

    Pretty well made for the removing stuck hubs DIY use at 'home'. Easy to use, comes with nicely fitted plastic built case&pair of gloves.
    However, it ain't built for a heavy-duty work or frequent daily using purpose. I used it on my f30 rear wheel hub which was all glued up inside the spindle. The metal plate actually bent forward. Also, make sure that your knuckle has a good sitting spot for the screw for pushing out your hub. You gotta make sure that spot is dead flat and solid. Commercial tools that are similar to this one comes with another piece for that matter but those ones costs like min$300-1000 lol.
