This tool proved to be totally without fuss to use and a welcome addition to the shop. You can't really appreciate the simple rubber tip for a quick check until you use it... imagine being frustrated with a baffling condition and you just want a quick check... just grab it and stick in and there y'a go. It's like a one-handed "junk or not junk" engine checker! All kidding aside, the tool is versatile for a wide range of applications and adapts to tight spaces in modern engine compartments. Found the hose end, threaded adaptors and rigid extension all worked flawlessly: screwed in & out with ease and did not leak during our testing. Quick connect on the gauge was solid but easy to use even with greasy fingers . Gauge needle action was smooth without bounce in validating the check valve holds. The hose is on the short side, but that makes it all the better for p in the compact case, and who wants a bigger case anyhow? So no disappointments and at the price point a great value... no excuse not to have one!

An excellent value!
This compression tester kit is all-inclusive. It comes with 5 additional adapters that will fit most gasoline engines including lawnmowers or snowblowers. The hard durable case has foam and pre-molded spaces for each part for protection and storage. The user manual is easy to follow.
To measure the compression, you have options. You can use the extension hose, the extension rod, or choose between a straight or angled connector that have a rubber end for sealing the cylinder compression for the spark plug hole.
The compression tester gauge is large and measure about 2.75 inches. The numbers are easy to read, and the compression has a triple reading and includes P.S.I, kPa, and Bar measurements. All the adapters have the quick connect fittings for convenience. There is also a convenient pressure release valve button on the quick connector attached to the gauge.
Also included with this kit is a spark plug tester.
I’m very satisfied with this product. The gauge and accessories are a professional quality, the kit comes with generous adapters and optional extensions, the spark plug tester, and everything is neatly together in a durable hard case. A+
