Original Thai Tea Mix from Thailand. This Number One Brand Thai Tea mix is used for making delicious Thai Iced Tea also known as "Cha Yen" since 1945. It is also a popular bubble (boba) tea flavor.     I have been unable to get a thai iced tea anywhere local since moving to a rural area since there is no Thai restaurant or ethnic grocery stores in my area and my craving for it has slowly been driving me mad. Then I decided on a whim to look for it on amazon and lo, there it was! It arrived quickly and it's a surprisingly large amount of tea for the price. I couldn't be happier and my homemade thai iced tea tasted great. I will probably have to re-up in another 6 months though since this stuff is addicting (esp with healthy dose of sweetened condensed milk in it).

    I love that this comes loose leaf as it's much more cost efficient. The flavour is great and strong (as is the colour - be careful or wherever you make/drink this tea could end up very orange!) and it tastes just like Thai iced tea you can order at a restaurant or buy premade. Being able to make it at home has been a luxury.

Gave it a try the moment it came and I very much like how it's not strong to the taste (I added some normal milk and condense milk; just my preference. I still taste the tea.) .     This is just exactly as the one we brought back from Thailand while visiting the country some years ago. You have to stepped it to get the flavour out then add sugar/milk/cream to your like. It was cost less then $20 per pack of 400g and now you pay a little more.

    I was curious if this product only comes as single bag now. It used to packed as 2x400 grams at only CA$26 taxes and shipping included. So I was curious and ordered it anyway and am very disappointed that it did only came in with 1x 400G. It's too bad that I love this tea coz I guess I won't be buying this anymore. Spend your $20 elsewhere, this is too much for 1 bag.
