Directions

Add 2 teaspoons of the Thai tea blend to 1 cup of boiling water. Strain the tea. Add 2-3 teaspoons of sugar or to taste. Stir well and serve over ice. For Thai iced milk tea, add 1-2 teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk or to taste after straining the tea.

Original Thai Tea Mix from Thailand. This Number One Brand Thai Tea mix is used for making delicious Thai Iced Tea also known as "Cha Yen" since 1945. It is also a popular bubble (boba) tea flavor. Please follow instructions on back of package for optimal flavor and most consistent results. Serving Suggestions Ice Tea: Add 2 teaspoons of the Thai Tea Mix to 1 cup of boiling water. Drain out Tea Mix with a strainer. Add 2-3 teaspoons of sugar or to liking. Stir well and serve with ice *Add a slice of lemon for lemon Ice Tea** Ice Tea with Milk: Add 2 teaspoons of the Thai Tea Mix to 1 cup of boiling water. Drain out Tea Mix with a strainer. Add 2-3 teaspoons of sugar and 1-2 teaspoons of condensed milk or to liking. Stir well and serve with ice.

    I purchased this after trying out a Thai Iced Tea at a local restaurant. Absolutely delicious! This is so exceptional. I like to make my tea last long, so sometimes I double steep. However, I would not recommend doing so with this. Re-using the tea leaves after it's initial brewing does alter the strength of the tea, making it less flavourful, and less potent. Not what you want with this tea.

    The only thing about it, is because it is in another language, I do not know if it has food colouring or some artificial dye in it. As I did read is often the case with Thai Iced Tea.

    If you have a natural inclination and time on your hands to make tapioca balls, this would be an ideal tea for bubble tea. Enjoy!

The best part is, you can control the amount of sugar and or dairy you want to use or not at all. It’s my new go to cold caffeinated bevy. Saving tons on calories from sugar and no need to do to my local Batista. It’s a great substitute for iced chai tea.
