    My partner is challenged by ADHD at times. I purchased a Buddha Board for Christmas and it turned out to be the perfect gift for him.
    Regular tap water serves as the paint ( I use distilled water due to high mineral content in my home water) and with a little creativity you can produce some beautiful results. Just dip the brush into the water and paint on the Buddha Board. The best part, I love to watch my creations slowly change as the moisture starts to evaporate, changing my creation into something else and then eventually disappearing all together, so you can start over again and again! Great gift idea, beautiful, simple and affordable. The Buddha Board comes in a simple box that can be used for storage when not in use. Kit come with a brush, a small easel, and the reusable canvas.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that you can only hold the board by the edge, which is not a problem, except that the plastic frame was not properly finished and there are some some rather sharp pieces that have not been removed on the corners.

    This is a replacement because I can't locate my original one. This one is slightly different from my original - it has a small border around it, which is alright, if less aesthetic. The brush appears to be synthetic, whereas the original was natural bristle, and held the water better. It works fine though, considering the transient nature of the whole experience. I'm definitely a fan, and have given a couple of Buddha Boards as gifts.

    Very calming to just paint with the water and then leave it five and your ready to go. My 4 year old also loves painting on this and keeps him busy for half an hour or so.

    Not to large in size with the main painting area being a bit over a4. No mess as it comes with a cover for the brush and easy to empty and dry the base.
