A lifesaving delicious alternative to coffee!
Super delicious with steamed oat milk! Caffeine contributed to severe reflux and nutritional deficiencies in my case, and this definitely curbed my craving for caffeinated coffee for good! A bit pricey but it still beats getting irreversible damage from GERD.

    Brilliant blend. I finally got rid of the mid-morning caffeine crash! This coffee substitute tastes great and makes a very decent cup. Mixes well with milk and my favorite stevia blend. For a truly unique Mocha, add some hot chocolate :)

    This product is delicious. I used this as a coffee alternative when trying to take a break from caffeine and I didn't have the crash or headache one would receive when trying to cut out coffee cold turkey. The smell and taste is delicious and I looked forward each day to enjoying a cup of this amazing product. I would recommend this product to those trying to cut out or reduce the amount of caffeine in their diet. It was great for an afternoon boost without my stomach getting upset or feeling anxious.

    This is the third mushroom coffee mix I've tried now but it wasn't my favourite.

    Here's what I love:
    - Canadian owned business
    - Pretty good ingredients
    - You still get that feeling of having a coffee, without the crash of caffeine
    - Definitely felt a sense of calm and my mind wasn't as foggy as usual after having this in the morning

    What I didn't quite love:
    - It says to just add water - I personally didn't think this tasted good with just water. I definitely needed to add milk and a little bit of maple syrup to make this drinkable.
    - The seal doesn't close well. It has the resealable bag component but when you go to seal it, it doesn't stay closed.

    Overall, if you're looking for a coffee alternative that has added benefits, I still think this could be a good option if you don't mind adding coffee/creamer/sweetener.

    I had never tried a mushroom beverage like this before, and since I love coffee, I thought I would give the a try! It has a pleasant smell - I could detect cinnamon right away, which I love.

    My son and I each tried a cup, made with hot water, with some high fat cream, and a shot of our favourite syrup. The powder doesn’t blend as nicely as, say, instant coffee. We found it needed to be stirred a lot and there were still clumps.
    It is made with coconut milk so I detect hints of that as well. It has a sweet, earthy, cinnamon taste.
    It has a small amount of caffeine from the cocoa, but offers a source of energy from the other ingredients. If I were looking for a low acid coffee alternative, this may be something I would consider. It has some nutritional benefits from natural sources like organic lions mane, maca and dandelion - and it’s a Canadian company. I feel confident drinking it later in the day without fearing being up all night.

    Aside from its blending issues, it’s a pleasant tasting coffee alternative that is low acid and prebiotic! It’s a little more expensive than I normally would expect for the volume.

    I've been buying Organic Traditions for years - they were some of the first products around for those seeking clean food/ supplement powders like ashwagandha. (Their cacao butter is also a fav.)
    I've been trying to cut down on caffeine so i was curious to try a mushroom/chicory/cacao based combo to see how it measures up in terms of providing a similar level of energy/fuel.

    Firstly the product itself smells amazing - like a spicy, nutty hot chocolate aroma.
    It brews up super easy with hot water (it doesn't need to be boiling, in fact i think it's probably better if it isn't so you're keeping all of those precious nutrients in tact!)
    The flavour is surprisingly similar to the profile of coffee actually!
    It's nutty and spice-forward and there is an earthy/woody finish with a slightly bitter flavor ( smoother than regular coffee i'd say...)
    There's actually a hint of a turkish coffee flavour happening in there as well.
    I've never tried roasted dandelion/rye/barley in drink form and i feel like those additions alongside the chicory really create a depth of flavour that's unexpected but delicious!
    Alot of times with these vegan latte / coffee mixes they use coconut milk powder which can have an intense/overpowering flavour which is definitely not for everyone - but this blend does not seem to have that!
    The coconut adds richness to it which blends well with the other ingredients and the cinnamon really rounds it all out.
    Really excellent work on the flavour blending here!

    I have recently become a lion's mane lover and i think its inclusion is very clever - it has exceptional cognitive benefits; and for a product that is meant to provide a brain boost as well as a sustained energy lift - the pairing with adaptogenic maca root is genius.

    Overall this makes a great coffee alternative for anyone who is trying to move towards a cleaner fuel source.
    The focus boost is evident right away and the ease with which this drink comes together is great.

    My suggestions: use a milk frother to mix it - it seems to foam up nicely on the top and if you use oat or almond milk instead of water it makes a sweet latte!
