Battery Information & Battery Replacement Method: Bicycle alarm host inside of the bicycle anti-theft alarm is a 400mAh (3.7V) battery, please use original 2A USB charging cable to connect the adapter to charge the bicycle alarm, generally it can be fully charged in 3 hours . Wireless remote : 12V/27A, the remote control distance is about 30-50M. If the remote can't control the host, please replace the battery and then re-match the alarm panel with the remote.
IPX5 Waterproof & Bracket Installation: The airtightness of the bicycle alarm is works very well, it will not affect its effectiveness even in heavy rain, especially suitable for protecting the safety of the car in rain and snow weather. I just ended up getting a new electric scooter so security was a must. I bought this alarm and it works great. It definitely feels like the equivalent of a car alarm, both in terms of loudness and personal feeling of security. It's extremely loud, almost to the point of deafening. Super easy to install both the alarm and the remote. After, I deliberately road over bumps to see if the remote and alarm would stay in place and it did! I ran out of handlebar space so I improvised and strapped the remote holder to the alarm's zipties. The alarm or the remote don't move at all or shift down the neck of the scooter when I'm riding. :)

Overall, I'm very happy with the how loud it is, how easy it is to operate and the ease of change the settings! Highly recommend!

This is a great little alarm and on the highest volume, it is loud! I bought it to help deter motorcycle thieves and I think it’ll do the job unless the thieves are deaf, overly brazen or high on drugs. I need to quit testing this alarm just for fun because my ears are ringing!
I took my first ride with alarm installed today and I forgot to disarm it after coming out of a store. I started to unlock one of the hard side luggage boxes and the alarm gave me the warning beeps to remind me that I forgot to disarm it. It's a great feature and I appreciate it. Anyway, I presume the alarm comes pre-set on the highest sensitivity setting and since it reacts to a mere key inserted into the luggage, that's quite sensitive, which is great. Also, today was a very windy day, with gusts blasting at the motorcycle and that did not set off the alarm, in case you are wondering about wind. Only me fiddling with it prompted the warning beeps. So I give the alarm a 5 star rating. Also, I detest complicated menus on tech products, and this one is simple enough for even non-techies like me.

This is one of two alarms that I have purchased of this particular design and features. This latest design is definitely an upgrade. The one I have had previously did not come with a USB port for recharging the unit. That is a great improvement. Also the new one (this unit)comes with a few more customized settings*custom alarm ringtones/and remaining charge gauge,etc.. make it a great value. Sensitivity is factory set so theres little to do after you install it where you want. The mounting options are included with zip ties, double sided 3M. It is small enough to mount discreetly and the sound it emits is comparable with some auto alarms. Its water resistant. I only have one less than perfect issue with this unit. ( The instructions are very insistent about using the enclosed USB charging cable/included with the unit). Ok , that's fine if its unique in its power transfer or the harness is unique in the porting,etc. However, their cable DIDN'T WORK. not to worry though,ANY "C" class USB will work great. That being said,its not a big deal for all the other things that it does. And you can sleep easy knowing its going to work and as long as you occasionally charge it or perhaps plug it in to a dedicated USB port that comes on with the vehicle you have it protecting..then you won't have to worry about that either.
