    The box arrived perfectly with no dents and all the parts were there. The instructions are easy to follow through the pictures if you don't speak Japanese.
    This is a super fun build! Get your pliers ready and be patient with the small parts. The sticker for the bigger sail is kinda hard to apply so be careful not to break it!
    The characters don't come painted so in the future we're probably painting not only them but the Sunny itself since it'll make look even better.

    Exactly what I was looking for. No glue required in assembly. Although be aware that you will likely end up wanting to paint and that might take a bit of time especially if it's a first time for you. In my case I used a primer to paint and it came out great, not sure if you can get away with not using one.

    I bought this for my husband - a big One Piece fan - for Christmas. LOVED IT.
    We spent an afternoon putting it together. The stickers were much easier to apply than some models.
    There is a bit of painting involved if you so choose (mini figurines, fine details, etc) but it's not required and doesn't really affect the overall finished look.
    Also, with the instructions in Japanese, you can simply match up the character symbols to the right piece and you're off to the races!
    FYI - MANY small parts. Not suitable for young children.

    Being a One Piece fan I just had to get a model ship of The Thousand Sunny as well as The Going Merry. My review for the Sunny and the Merry will probably be very similar so if you want to check that out you can but it isn't necessary. I haven't put them together yet.

    Now getting to my review I would like to point out that there is an option to paint. It isn't required because it does come with stickers to put on the Sunny but I almost would recommend painting it because it'll be leaving out a lot of detail if you don't. The stickers just cover the basic stuff. You could totally just put it together and toss it on your shelf and it'd still look fine if you really wanted too. I'm probably going take the time to paint it. This kit does come with a manual but it's unfortunately all in Japanese. There are pictures that show you what to do and how to put it together so that's a plus. Because I want to paint it I had to do some digging and I did find the translation for the painting part and I have provided a picture for you all if you want to paint it as well. The kit also comes with TINY figures of the crew. I took a picture of them next to a quarter to help you see the size difference. Because I have yet to put this together I can't tell you for certain how big it will turn out. It almost looks like it may end up being smaller than The Going Merry model. Which kind of bugs me because it's suppose to be bigger. I also provided a picture of the base of both boats. Again I have yet to put either of these models together because I still need to get the paint for them so I could be wrong about how big the finished product will be.

    I really don't have much of a review for this product yet because I haven't put it together or painted it yet so once I am able to do that I will edit my review and I'll have more pictures of it so you can see it finished.
