This rotary cutter works super well. It is convenient, fast, and easy to use with just a few minutes' practising. My one concern is that the mats that protect surfaces and help to extend the life of the rotary cutters has some chemicals in it - and some that may be toxic. I do use the proper mat anyway, but I do wish that the chemicals had been mentioned in the description for the mats so that I could research it before buying. Note: no matter which rotary cutter you purchase, you will need to buy a mat as well. This particular rotary cutter also has a pinking cutter that can be switched out with the regular blade. It is a separate purchase, but well worth it for edging.
