Did the job. Good value price. Considering 10-15$ to change watch battery at store its worth it for life. I would advise to watch online tutoirial. I wasnt sure how much pressure to apply, was waiting for the clic sound...turns out more pressure than expeected for that particular watch and no clic sound on this one.

I was a but skeptical at first as Ive seen mixed reviews on this product. Seems like there many out there that are virtually identical in desig but quality varies and without a brand name with which to associate them, its hard to tell what you're going to get.

With that said, I did have to return my first one and order another since the top screw was not perfectly centered with the bottom screw. When attempting to snap a caseback on, it had a tendency to favor one side so pressure was not distributed evenly. But once I got the replacement, all concerns were allayed. I've used it several times already without issue.

One recommendation to the manufacturer, is to include instructions on how to use the device. It's easy to get confused as to what size presses to use for a watch and which design (flat vs concave) goes on the top or the bottom. Some people could end up damaging their watches permanently as a result of misuse, and then attribute fault to the device for being poorly designed when the real cause is human error.

This is a very important tool for anyone using a watch battery replacement kit. It is nearly impossible to put that back cover back on once it is off. Lou

I tried changing my watch battery myself quite some time ago, but couldn't get the back of my watch back on. I thought I just wasn't pressing hard enough or applying pressure in the right areas, but I was too stubborn to take it to a watch repair place to have them do it for me (cause it costs $20), so my watch sat on the shelf for months.

Eventually I realized I needed a watch press, purchased this one, and BOOM, was able to get the backing back onto my watch no problem. It's very easy to use (you still have to apply a little pressure, and I'm not going to lie, I was worried I was going to break something the first time), though the instructions could have used a bit more detail (though I feel that way about almost every instruction manual I've ever read, so that's probably just me). The only disadvantage I can think of is that it's not the easiest to store as there's no storage box and the device isn't collapsible (though if it was, it'd probably be less sturdy). Overall though, I'm quite happy with it, especially considering how much it saves me from paying to have my watch battery replaced.

There is a lot of good stuff included in this kit. I purchased it mainly for the press. If you read the included instructions it's fairly straightforward. The part that you screw on the top portion of the press should be a little smaller than the watch back cover. The part that you screw on the base should be the same size as the watch face. You simply place the watch in the base and gradually lower the press until you hear a little *click*. Presto! It works great. I did this on three watches without any problems.

Worked great after carefully figuring out the best die to use to replace the watch back, instructions included helped but also watching video provided by the seller on 鶹 site. Better weight of product than another one I bought and returned. I like the other tools provided as well. Definitely what you need to replace your watch battery for the same cost as going to a jeweler one time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Broke with first use, Ohuhu refunded money & sent 2 free replacements!

I bought the Ohuhu press to swap out the mineral crystal in my diver for a domed sapphire crystal. The crystal is held in with friction, so with enough force, it would pop out. I got everything lined up and started to slowly apply pressure. As I increased pressure, I heard a pop and assumed I'd popped the crystal out. I looked down, and I'd popped the handle of the press from the base. From the photos, it's apparent this was a bad casting. Rather than the entire press being cast from one mold, it looks like the base was poured and the handle was done separately. The inside of the handle looks completely different from the bottom of the press. I returned the press and would not buy another press from this brand. The manufacturing quality is extremely lacking. I bought their watch toolset and that was actually pretty good for the price and I have been using it a lot.

UPDATE: Ohuhu reached out to me after seeing this review and said they want to make things right. I'd already sent back the broken press for a refund, but they offered to send me a new one free of charge. I must admit I am very pleased with their customer service so far. I will continue to keep this review updated and if I find the new press to be better quality, I will change the rating as I see fit.

UPDATE 2: Ohuhu sent me another press. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I feel confident if this one breaks the company will make it right. So if you have problems with your press, let Ohuhu know and they'll make things right for you. Had to dock one star for the original product being defective.

UPDATE 3: The replacement crystal press sat untouched in a box for two years until I bought a Seiko Turtle and decided to replace the Hardlex with sapphire. I popped out the crystal no problem. When I went to put the new one in, the metal piece connected at the tip of the handle broke, just like a lot of other reviewers (see 5th picture). Just like the first time, I ended up using their dies and a c-clamp to press the crystal in. I emailed Ohuhu since their customer service was really good before. It has been 3 days and I haven't heard anything back. If they rectify the situation, I will update my review.

UPDATE 4: Ohuhu sent me another press. This one seems to be of higher quality. These presses can push out a crystal no problem, but to press in the new crystal, they may not be the best tool. This new one didn't break, but I ended up using a clamp and their dies to push the crystal in all the way. Their customer service is amazing, even if the products have some problems. I have complete faith that if I have any issues they will resolve them without question. They have some of the best customer service I have come across anywhere.
