The Ohuhu PU Heat Transfer Vinyl, 30 Pack 12" x 10" Iron on Vinyls is a great value. The quality is very good and it’s easy to work with. I love all the colours, it comes with a tweezer/weeding tool, a teflon sheet for to use as a press-cloth, and a good instruction manual.
I am very new to Cricut and this was the first time I’ve ever used HTV sheets. The manual did a great job of making it very clear which way to put it down on the mat and also gave a caution about pressure, not to go through the clear plastic top sheet.
When I did my first design and finished the cut, it looked like there wasn’t enough pressure and I was ready to do it again with more pressure but decided to check with the weeding tool and yes, they were cut fine, in spite of appearances.
The design I did was a huge challenge and I don’t even know how the Cricut could cut such teeny tiny areas. If you look, the dots in the flowers are very small and one really is impossibly small. Everything weeded easily, but the dots held on to their flowers at one or two points of the dot. I don’t know if it’s my blade, the vinyl, or just the complexity of doing some a small piece. I used two tweezers to separate and ensure the dots stayed where they should. 3 out of 4 did not, so I had to be careful not to flip them wrong side up. I used the weeded flowers to place elsewhere in the design and had the same problem with those.
Using the Easy Press, it adhered easily. When I pulled it up, I saw that one tiny dot and one flower did not stick, so I guess they got flipped. I was able to turn them over and press again and they stuck fine.
I’m really happy with how this HTV performed. It looks amazing and was easy to work with. I highly recommend it.
