Oh Yuk indeed. Moved into a new house that had this jetted tub and I did a couple bleach cycles however I saw this product advertised and thought I should give it a try. Within a few seconds of the Jets running with this product in it, I started to notice some scum in the foam and after running the Jets for 20 minutes, I was blown away by the amount of disgusting stuff that came out of the pipes. I’m going to run a clean water cycle and then probably run another cycle of this Oh yuk stuff but yeah, it was pretty gross.

    I had high hopes for this product. We purchased a 10 year old home with a jetted tub that desperately needed cleaning. However, after 2 full bottles (8 cleans and 8 rinses, all more than the reccommend 15 minute time frame), countless hours of my life I'll never get back, and burning eyes and lungs (cause dang...the chemical smell/mist/release is STRONG even with open windows and fans) my tub was still disgusting. The nozzles didn't look a bit cleaner. The lines were still pushing out debris - both black gunk and soap scum.

    Went to buy MORE Oh YUK thinking i just needed to clean it more or that perhaps the tub really had never been cleaned. On a whim, I decided to look at the reviews that were 1 - 3 stars.... oh my Lanta!!!! I am NOT the first to have this issue by a long shot and I am thankful I didn't just purchase again. Also very thankful the tub finish didn't wear off, my water lines didn't break, or one of the many other issues that others had encountered using this product.

    I do not reccomend Oh YUK. At. All. Ever.

    Instead, I searched up home cleaning remedies for jetted tubs and found one that simply uses a Finish Powder Dish Tab and bleach. I did 2 cleans with this and my tub was WAY cleaner than anything I saw with Oh YUK... including what was coming out if the lines. 3 more cleans using the dish tab and bleach concoction and my tub is SPARKLING!!! I have very few, if any, specs floating from the jets, no tub ring, and my nozzles look new!! Plus, the smell was way more tolerable - similar to a public pool.

    Save your money, your time, and your tub. Go grab a $1 bottle of bleach, some dish tabs, and a new toilet brush to wash/scrub that tub of yours with. It'll work MUCH better and you'll be able to get back to doing things that are much more worth your time.

    Some gunk came out, but nowhere near as much as some of other reviewers' pictures.

    The smell of this stuff is absolutely toxic. Like hospital grade drain cleaner. Be sure you have good ventilation in your bathroom before use, as you have to run the jets for 15 minutes.

    Washing it all off wasn't a picnic either. I did two full bath rinses and wiped the tub. The bathroom still had a noticeable stink of this stuff.

    THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!!! SURPRISINGLY WORKS WAY BETTER THAN SCRUBBING!!!! I just bought a beautiful house but the previous owners’ cleaning standards definitely weren’t up to mine (they were total gross slob kabobs IMO). We spent thousands (it’s a big house) on 4 whole house cleanings by 3 different companies in the months prior to finally just moving in, plus me scrubbing on my hands and knees every single day. Once we moved in I was exhausted from moving and cleaning and finally felt safe enough to try the jacuzzi tub upstairs. All was fine until I was about to get in and I turned the jets on.. 🤮🤮🤮 SO GROSS!! I scrubbed and scrubbed the inside of the jets by hand and used all sorts of dish cleaning products and bathroom cleaner and even unscrewed the jets to really get in there to scrub bc everytime I ran the jets it would fill my seemingly clean tub full of brown and green gunk!!! I just couldn’t get it all out!!! I bought this bottle of “oh yuk” to help me get rid of some
    Of the gunk, well it got it ALL out in 2 cleanings Without me having to scrub a thing!!! I will NEVER take a bath anywhere but my own tub after using this and always keep some on hand to keep my jacuzzi tub fresh and clean!!!! I’d give this 10stars if I could!!! You have no idea how hard and how many times I scrubbed and scrubbed by hand, I should have just got this from the get-go!!! You need this if you have a jetted tub idc how clean you think your tub is, it’s not clean until you’ve ran a cycle of Oh Yuk!!!

    We had always had suspicious "bits" floating in our jet bath and despite topping up the bath and switching on the power they still remained. I used a whole bottle of sterilising fluid recently and rinsed it all out and after few days I'd had a bath and had not used the power jets, ... to give it a quick clean. Got out of the bath and turned them on and was mortified to find the water was dark grey and the sediment at the bottom of the bath was literally black. (This must have been loosened by the sterilising product I had put in a few days before).

    I did some research on the web and found Oh Yuk. It had good reviews and so I ordered some. I used this as soon as I received. I topped up with cold water and added 2oz, turned on the jets and when I did ...I said "oh YUK"!!. The amount of gunk that came out of the pipes was appalling.....it left a sold black line round the bath! I left the bath running for half an hour, cleaned out the bath and then waited half an hour and did the same thing again.

    The second time it was almost clear. It does soap up but not overly... a bit like when you put a special oil based bath product in. The day after I filled up the bath and ran it without Oh Yuk and it was virtually clear. I am going to run it again with Oh Yuk system again.

    I will use this product every month from now on and although it is a bit pricey, it means that I know my jet pipes are being thoroughly cleaned and my family can have a power bath in complete confidence. It is really important to clean your pipes on your power bath as they harbour so much bacteria (which can make you ill) and it is easy to overlook that fact when we are busy. We can sometimes concentrate on the things we see, rather than the things we can't. Oh Yuk has taken care of that. Would really recommend Oh Yuk.

    Had not cleaned the Jacuzzi other than surface of it, removed all the jets and manually cleaned the gunk and hair out then filled the bath with hot water and added the oh yuk you then have to run the Jacuzzi for 15 minutes. Be aware it does smell some what of chemicals I have asthma and found I needed a face mask. You the let the water out and refill the bath and run it for another 15 mins you have to then clean any gunk on the Jacuzzi surface. I cleaned it twice as had not done it before and found after doing it, the jets were much more powerful and the bath seems cleaner too. Cost £25 but each bottle does 2 cleans
