This is a fantastic product. You get 12 sets of markers, organized by color, with 20 of each color. These markers are thick enough for kids to hold easily, but are still relatively thin, and the points seem to vary.
We've been coloring with these all weekend, and none of the markers are 'empty'. They last quite a while, and are definitely equivalent of a premium brand. Filling a coloring book with these markers leads to a much more vivid and beautiful result, rekindling interest in coloring books for kids who were tired of crayons.
The construction quality of the markers is good, which is normal. It's thick plastic, with a nice cap that fits on the back of the marker when in use, and a nice writing end that stays wet with color. The box also is important. It's thick cardboard, and is built to open into a display case that keeps markers organized and somewhat compact when not in use. You could easily use this for an art class or school, and this one box will probably last my kids until they are teenagers.
It's a huge value. I'd expect to may at least twice as much in a local store for this many 'good' markers.
Importantly, my daughter drew all over my son, all over his clothing, using the red and blue markers. The ink washed out of the clothing easily, and my son stood in a shower and the color instantly rinsed away with no scrubbing. This ink is simply extremely water soluble despite being very effective on paper. There is almost no reason to get markers for kids that aren't washable like this!
