Got these to replace the armrests on a 2-year old office chair. The original pads were too soft and the skin came apart within 18 month. This product is well shaped (nice recessed profile to support your arms and also curved down a the front to follow the natural contour of your arms). The biggest upgrade is that the core padding is stiffer and should last longer and not crack as easy as the OEM pads. Despite being harder, they are more comfortable with the arm contouring I mentioned earlier. Even came with 2 sets of mounting screw (3/4" and 1") and fitted perfectly on the standard 4" office chair bold pattern. It just works for me when you buy an aftermarket replace part and the quality and function are so much better than the original.

My old, but comfortable, office chair at home had cracked arm rests. I ordered this set to replaced the arm rests, and I could not have been happier. Not only did they arrive a day earlier than expected, I had the old arm rests removed and these new ones on in under 10 minutes (spent much of my time going to get my philips screwdriver). They fitted perfectly, the included screws were a bonus. They're not as soft as my old arm rests, but they are not rock hard, there is some flexibility in them. But the firmness is, for me, just right.

My only regret? Not ordering them months ago.

the install was easy and the mounting holes lined up, they did not have the smell of a cheap production quality item (I'm sure most people will know what I mean by that).
however it says soft in the description, these are rock like in their hardness, luckily they have a nice support curve and cover to them so it can kind of be ignored, but you will need to adjust your sitting position or get one of those fabric pads to add a bit of softness to these

No need to buy a brand new armkit when only the pads need to be replaced. I have a few fairly expensive office chairs and the older one badly needed new armrest pads. The problem has been solved thanks to this product.

I don't regret choosing this one out of all the available replacement armrest pads available on �鶹��. The price is excellent and the quality is also very good. They should easily last for a few years of daily use without any issues. For most basic office chairs, this is definitely an upgrade worth considering. Just make sure your screw holes are 4 inches apart and you should be fine.

The product came with 2 sets of mounting screw (3/4" and 1") and fitted perfectly. Thanks to the previous reviewers for mentioning this important detail.

The line "Mounting screw hardware not included" in the description should be removed to avoid confusion.

Well constructed, but not compatible with my chair. Even though I double checked the mounting hole measurements, it was not sufficient. The angle of the surface on which these pads rests, must be relatively flat (0 degrees). Many office chairs have supports that are slightly angled downwards, and these will be recognizable by their sloping support arm emerging from under the seat. If it is angled forwards (see photo), then you may need a pad that is thicker at the front, in order to have a resting surface that is parallel to the ground. �鶹�� and the manufacturer should publish the angle of the supporting surface that this pad (and others) require.

�鶹�� fortunately took these back and refunded me. If you're considering ordering this product, remove your existing arm rest pads and check the angle prior to ordering (there are many smartphone apps that can measure inclination). Many office chairs have support arms that rise straight up. These are more likely to not have the problem I encountered.
