Used this on our first ever backpacking trip. It worked great. Started no problem. Having the different size cookware was perfect for cooking multiple items. We did “thanksgiving dinner” on the trail. Boiled water in the kettle, used one pan for stuffing, one for potatoes, and the cup for gravy. Then we had the plates for snacks (ate from the pot/skillet) perfect set for 2!
Larger cups (with handles) would have been ideal, but of course wouldn’t stack as compact. Our friends were wishing they had the same set.

Pros: The set is functional, everything is there and packaging was well. Fits nicely all together and great for back country back packing or when you need to pack minimally
Cons: Pretty cheaply made products. EVERYTHING sticks horribly to the pan (pretty annoying), the pots & pans are very light so they don't sit well on the burner and fall over easily in the slightest breeze. Also the burner is uneven so the pans don't sit evenly either. Forks and spoons collapse when you're trying to eat, they should have made the hinge fold the other way. Cups and plates are tiny.

I love this kit!! I took it on several camping trips before writing a review....

I accidentally left the tall pot on the fire for many hours cooking rice (let's just say it was a fun night)... and it stood the test of time and fire!

If you are doing fire cooking, it takes a bit of scrubbing when you get home but honestly that's pretty standard.

I didn't use the little plates and cups for much because I found them to be too small for my preferred volume of liquid and how much food I eat at once ... i have a separate plastic plate and bowl i bought at Target for like $0.75 a piece which I like more.

No issue with the handles melting despite cooking on the fire (obv you should try to keep those away from the direct flame.. and use common sense with flame).

Little stove is super portable, light, and was a life saver on rainy days or mornings where we needed to boil water quickly so we could eat and get on the trail fast. I used isobutane fuel from Canadian Tire which is only $7.
