The installation process is challenging, shark vacs require special drill tips (t10 & t20). Make sure you have those first. They need to be longer than 1/2inch. The rest of it is just finicky, but manageable. The tube twists in just like it should, you just have to stretch the tube so it's not stuck to itself and the threading can grab.
So far (three days) it's been durable and j would buy again if needed.
