    Salad spinner is a great size for a family serving. It works very easily, and I like the fact that the pump on top tucked in and snaps down for less space in storing. It’s great because I do not have to spend money for batteries to operate it I have had it for quite a while now, and it is very durable.

    The salad spinner works as advertised by pressing down on the top to spin it.

    I have another salad spinner which works by spinning a knob, and I think that it actually works better because it can get cranked up to gets higher speeds. The OXO goes a bit slower and is less effective in achieving high speeds. The OXO also can become unstable at high speeds. Therefore it works best with lighter salads. The plastic is hard and maybe brittle. I have not had trouble with it, but have not dropped it either.

    At €24 and considering that it is all made of plastic it seems a bit expensive. Still it is a decent enough product which hopefully should provide years of service.
