This keyless entry lock is great for an RV. You can lock and unlock with a programmable code so no one needs to carry a key or the keyfob to the beach.

It ships with 4 keys to allow locking the latch and/or the deadbolt - useful if the batteries die.
It also comes with 2 remote fobs with 2 lock/unlock buttons that can be separately programmed for 2 lock units. Many RVs have 2 doors and one remote can control both.

The keypad lights up and beeps. Great at night and for people who need confirmation of their button presses. You can also optionally shut off the beeps for quiet entry and exit.

Installation was tricky. The lock is big and it took some effort to get it in the cutout on our RV. I also had a problem with one of the screws in the latch - the thread in the lock appeared to be cross threaded - perhaps from a previous install and this was a returned unit. I was able to repair it with another screw.

The description mentions 1 lithium battery required - and in the instructions, it says 4 AA batteries are included - but there aren't any in the package. The lithium battery mentioned is for the keyfobs and is already installed. It's a typical CR2032 used in many fobs.

The battery door is held in place with a very small screw. This screw is not captured so you will lose it if you are not careful.

Programming should be a breeze, but I found I had to try it a half dozen times before I perfected the technique. The main issue is after activating the programming mode, you have only 5 seconds to start the process or it resets. It's a good idea to rehearse the steps until you can do them quickly and confidently. If you don't hear any confirmation beeps as you go through the process, then you were too slow and need to start over.

Once completed, this is a very convenient setup. Having the remotes is great - you can lock/unlock from a distance just like your car. The keys are a good failsafe. Once inside, you can manual lock/unlock the deadbolt. There's also a small switch that you can select on/off for the remotes. The programmed codes still work, just the remotes are disabled or enabled.

This was a good price for this setup. A suggestion for the manufacturer would be to make the battery door screw captured so as not to be lost. The included screwdriver was useful for pushing the set/reset buttons, but the screwdriver and larger star head were too small to apply adequate torque during the install.

When you're installing, some good advice that I should have given myself was to spread a sheet or tarp on the ground to catch dropped screws - especially if you're working on the grass.
