    Second try at replacing old bp machine--this one works. It is not loaded with unnecessary bells and whistles I don't need. It's quiet, inflates the cuff without problem, reads out the correct bp s/d and pulse, and flags you if the heart rate is irregular. It's all that I need. Took off one star for not having an adapter--these do suck down batteries fast. The cheaper brand x machine with bells and silly whistles but couldn't inflate the cuff came with an adapter, so why doesn't this? (Also the Omron online registration page/support is unresponsive and useless. But the machine works.)
