Directions

Please refer to the manual for complete setup and usage instructions. To help ensure an accurate reading, follow these directions: • Stress raises blood pressure. Avoid taking measurements during stressful times. • Measurements should be taken in a quiet place. • It is important to take measurements at the same times each day. Taking measurements in the morning and in the evening is recommended. • Remember to have a record of your blood pressure and pulse readings for your physician. A single measurement does not provide an accurate indication of your true blood pressure. You need to take and record several readings over a period of time.

    I actually bought this newer model because it was supposed to have blueboth connectivity to my Kardiac EKG monitor. Unfortunately, it never would pair with my iPhone. I finally had to download the OMARON app and it did pair with that app/

    I carefully read the entire manual, which offers exactly 2 overly broad pages on bluetooth connectivity.
    This part is the most disappointing, so I'm sending it back. The old BP machine still works just fine.

    The Quick Start Pamphelt's QR code for the phone app is outdated. I called Omron's 800 number and they appologised. You need to go to the App Store and download their currect app. I did and no issues. I love this BP Measure unit. It is easy to follow their instructions and easy to move around. I will check the accuracy the next time I go to doctors office and let y'all know how it turns out. At this time, I would recommend this product.

    Per instructions, first thing I tried to do was download the app to my phone. However, it is only available for Apple, Google, or Samsung phones, and I have a Motorola!

    OK, having the app might be nice, but I can still use the device without it. So after unpacking I tried to take a reading. It detected that I have AFIB and REFUSED to give me a reading, saying I should see a doctor! My cardiologist has already told me I have AFIB, I just wanted a BP reading.

    I tried calling support hoping there was a way around this, but gave up after being on hold for 20+ minutes. Tried the next day with no better luck. So I was stuck with a BP monitor that won't let me monitor my BP! Fortunately, 鶹's return policy is 5-star.

    I replaced a much older monitor with this one. I feel more confidence in this unit than the previous one. The results appear to be more consistent. My wife and I being old farts do not use the blue tooth to connect to our devices. My only reservation is that the new cuff is a bit stiffer and slicker than the previous unit making it more difficult to use. I suspect that there is a learning curve and that this problem will disappear in time.
