Everything about this light is perfect - the build quality is excellent, the optics and light distribution are perfect, the brightness is excellent. The build quality is "no compromise" -- very solid with excellent materials, metal housing, etc. When you grab it for the 1st time you just =know= it's a well built light. The mount has been very reliable and is super easy to connect/disconnect with a quad-loc style connector.
I've been using mine for about 6 months with almost no wishes. The duration probably isn't quite as high as published -- although I've been using it in sub-zero temperatures for a lot of that which definitely reduces life. But I get a solid 4-5+ hours use out of it, which is plenty for me to schedule re-charges.
Service from Olight has been excellent. At one point I thought that I had a problem where I couldn't turn it on. Olight got back to me promptly and offered right away to send me a replacement -- but then I figured out I had just inadvertently engaged the switch lock and really didn't have a problem. Read the manual, folks!
I also have an Olight headlamp and just as pleased with it. Great company with great products.
Paying a bit more for a premium product that stands up to use is definitely worth it.
