Here are some tips that are extremely useful for new beginners:

  • Securing The Hats: When loading the hat onto the platen, flip the bill portion out, grasp the sides of the bill, and smoothly slide it on from the side. This ensures that the hat is securely against the platen, providing uniform pressure throughout the heat pressing process.

  • Securing The Transfer: Consider using heat-resistant tape to secure the transfer in place on the hat. This prevents the transfer from shifting during the heat pressing process.

It won't let me give it a zero stars. 1.) item arrived unpacked and looked used. Several marks on it and the best surprise was the previous owners garbage underneath the unit still in the mailing box. 2.) I still set it all up and it worked for a total of ONE hat before the arm no longer retracted. Thank you for your used garbage and broken machine. Awesome experience.

    No pressure control settings and it barely puts any pressure on hat. Tried pressing on a simple DTF transfer and it just couldn't do it. Tried all sorts of angles seeing how the hat fits awkwardly onto the press but wasn't able to get sufficient pressure. Wish I would have tried within my 30 day return window. It looks nice though, and it did work with an iron on patch... just won't work with a thin transfer.

    I wasn't sure what to expect with this product but it works so well! I have an amateur hat making set up and this is exactly what I wanted. Has time and temperature controls but no pressure control. I don't ever need that function but I imagine some people do. The instructions aren't very thorough but it's easy to figure out with a little bit of experimentation. Also the only affordable hat press I've found that is aesthetically cute!

    It's a great machine if I knew what I was doing and how to use 100%. To be honest, there's to much involved with making the transfers and patches so I decided to return it so someone that does know how to do it all can put it to work.
